What if a city could become an open-air museum, invisible to the naked eye?
ARAN is a mobile app that uses augmented reality to place virtual artworks in real locations across the city. Each piece is anchored to a specific spot — you find it, you see it, no one else can unless they’re standing right there.
The first exhibition, Time and Umwelt, was curated by Sur Noir and presented at ARCO 2018 in the section “The future is not what is going to happen, but what we are going to do.” It was the first AR art walk in Madrid.
My role: app development, AR integration, and audiovisual content production.
